Internal Flush

anybody know how to clear all the samples out of the mpc without loading a new all saved files and sequences or turning it off?

like instead of turning off the mp as where u turn it back on you need to load new sample setc and makenew sequences how do you do that? so i dont have to turn it off or load a new program

basically reset the mpc so you start over

This has been discussed before... there isn't a feature like that, but there are a few good workarounds to the problem. One is to save a normal project with no samples loaded as a template, then load it up each time you want to start a new project.

Yes, but you will still need to laod a samples of that program saparately isn't It ? So that means I have to find all those samples again in a 20 GB Library ,but that is not easy..

That's not what he was asking, though. He wanted to "clear all the samples out of the mpc." I gave him a nice alternative to his issue. In your case, there really isn't anything you can do. I guess just save a template with all the samples you use most often, and program an autoload to start up with that project each time you turn on your MP.

Whats the problem with turning it off and on again? It only takes a few seconds.

i cant jerk the flow of electricity cuz someone else i live with wich is important family records and if i turn things off and on the recording gte **** up and disks for it are expensive right now so yea

plug the MPC into an outlet on a sperate breaker.

why not just delete the program(s) and purge the samples not being used? and then load up a new project/folder?
