maybe the card is corrupt. try formatting it and then saving again.

maybe its full?

can you save the project you are having difficulty with to the other card?

actually i think it is corrupt....because i know the card is not full, and i cant put anything onto it....even from my computer thru a usb flashcard drive. so im going to see if radio shack will give me a new one....i dont want to turn off my mpc right now tho because i have a couple of beats i like on there that i just made and it absolutely pisses me off to lose a beat i made...even if its really not spectacular...but ill keep u informed homie

can you offload the working flash card projects to the PC via USB and then save your current project to the flash card?

can you format the non working flash card?

it might be corrupted or it may be that you have used it so much. i have been told that you can only rewrite and save so many times before it goes bad. that might be the problem

Not likely. Ancient ones are good for ten thousand writes; modern ones are more like a million writes. It's pretty hard to "wear out" a CF card. That's not to say that it couldn't have been bad to start with.
