recycle users?

any one whos uses recycle answer this pls im looking into getting reycle to make my loops and chops but i wanted to know the compatability with the 2500 can you make wav files with recycle or any format that can be used to sequence in the 2500? i dont use reasons so im not sure how id work it with my mpc?

i normally just use the mpc but have heard alot of good things about recycles chopping etc.

From what I get its fairly easy....you just make your chops in recycle then when your done you just save them as a project and basically in that project folder will have all the individual chops so say in recycle you chopped a sample with 16 chops it would have chop1, chop2, chop3 and on...they would be in .wav format so you could just load all your chops onto a cf card or transfer via usb then bam load them chops and assign them each to a pad and there u go....i find it easier/quicker to do in the mp but I havent had the hands on with recycle but from what I have heard is the newer version of recycle you can save as PGM which would be SICK because then all you have to do is load the PGM and all your chops would already be assigned and ready to go....

i use recycle right now and it's dope! you can really chop things up clean with the huge visuals of each sound wave in recycle. i vouch for pickin up recycle...

editing in the 2500 is easier than previous mpcs but cutting in recycle is soooo fast and precise. i couldn't live without it.

Recycle 2.1 you can save as an AKP format which you can import to Bluebox, which in turn you can then export to a PGM.

Recycle is long overdue for an update...Reason has had several updates. Although Recycle is a powerful program, it can be improved significantly it is is made more compatible with the latest MPCs.

What improvements would you like to see jahrome in Recycle?

Actual audio recording would be my top choice. Improving sample editing and also adding additional export formats are a close second.

If I can combine the best features in Wave Lab with Recycle, that would be a great product.

Actual audio recording would be great but as you said, wavelab does that job too. And I have to say that after "recycling"my beats I like the trim function in my MPC to optimise the resulting chopped samples.
