How do we go about deleting some of the topics that have been answered
a million times so that you don't get 10,000 search results every time you post a query?

Yea, and then find a volunteer who goes through 115 pages of threads to pick out the useless ones.

Naughty...very naughty..

But no one wants there post count to go down. If they start erasing threads people loose post off their count, right??

Please DELETE NOTHING...

I'd be lost if I didn't have all the results of my searches to learn from...

Sometimes I'll find one thing thats relevant out of 30 but it's worth the 20 minutes of reading....Other times I'd find something new to learn that I wasn't even looking for..

2 months ago I bought my MPC after much research on this site for 3 months prior and I've done heaps of cool things within a short time....I'm truelly amazed at the help people have given here

Please don't dismiss the smallest reply or thread as it may be insignificant to many but mighty relevent to me.

PS..I do narrow my searches down by using "AND" between query's.

I definitely won't be trimming down this forum. I did that with the JJ OS forum for the 1000 and it took over 12 hours. Then when more redundant topics kept coming up, it really pisssed me off and I started locking and deleting what I saw until I got all sorts of complaints. Tutor advised me at the time not to go so heavy-handed on people for that, since he was getting alot of complaints for that as well. So I can't please all the people all of the time.

All I can say to everyone is to think before you post, since the redundancy issue will never go away.

1ABGood2 made a valid point, as far as the chances of learning something new in some redundant threads. But some redundant threads will still crop up with absolutely nothing new... and those threads may get locked upon my discretion. Reguardless of the fact, nothing of any significant learning value will be lost from this forum.

You have learned what MANY fail to see, this is not a googles search here, it's more in line with boolean logic.

"AND" "+" Make a HUGE difference in your search results.

Also when people title there threads all crazy, that doesn't help either.
