Help sync MPC to pro tools

Hey guys! i was wondering! i use pro tools as well, and i also have the 2500, but how the hell do i sync it to pro tools?! i cant do it! please help me out! have u tryed this? because what iu do is, i dont play midi directly to the mpc, i find it a bit harder that way, i simply sync it to reason or fruity, and i play the drums and percussions etc on the mpc and the melodies and other pianos etc e play it on reason...well i wanna be able to do the same on pro tools! its even gonna be better because when i export my beats i can simply press record and it will start both sides, on the mpc and pro tools! plz help!

hook your midi out of your mpc to the midi in of your interface. hook your midi out of your interface to the midi in of your mpc.

on your mpc go to your midi set up and turn on the MTC or set the MPC as a slave/master.

in PT go to preferences/settings and set the program to receive midi from/send midi to your MPC.
