if you tried to load a os, then restarted it...and it's stuck at the 128mb installed, and blinks every now and then...you f*cked right? how can you fix it?

that would work, but the joint i got on there won't work...there's no way to load the original os??

Power ON the MPC while holding down the [ERASE] button (this will reinitialize the MPC)...try that....thats step 8 on how to update the OS on the Akai site.

holding down window...but it only reads the os from the flash card. not the hard drive. i had to go buy a flash card reader and download the os, ten it read it. i didn't try holding down erase, i saw it too late. that prolly woulda saved me twenty bucks.

In your case, I don't think the reinitialize would've helped you.
