Exporting songs from mpc to pc

i know how load the data up on the pc from the mpc through the usb. but since the songs are saved as a .SEQ format, how am i able to convert it so im able to listen to it on the pc??
i looked through the manual i have but they didn't say nething or i might've missed it

You are going to have to resample your entire project, then transer the .wav into your PC.

guys there are nothing in manual about resampling your entire memory.. Why??

Yeah, it's called resampling. Record your sequence('s) or Song in record mode, then save the sample and export it to your PC via USB or Compact Flash.

it depends on what you are trying to do and how long the audio you are trying to record is. upright is saying about resmapling if you are trying to create a new sample from a tweaked sample.

but i think you are trying to bounce a whole track down by the sounds of it.

you have a sequence or a bunch of them in song mode - how do you get this to your PC? you have to take your stereo outs and whack em in your PC (with sound card) and then get some recording software (wavelab, cooledit etc) and then simply record the audio.

Actually he can resample his loop, combination of sequences or song into a single .wav file. Which he can then transfer to his PC via USB or CF card. This is will allow him to get his complete track into his PC without any recording software.

A little over 20 minutes in mono and half that in stereo. Of course you'll need the ram upgrade first.

i always just rec straight in to the PC. I suppose because i am nearly always using ext MIDI equip.

Manuals are meant to be basic. U read about what it can do and then YOU figure out ways to combine features to get you where you wanna go. Can't you follow along with upright and dablunt are speaking on?

This resampling is my discovery of the day so thanks for that!

What I find hard to solve is how to record my external synths which are triggered by my MPC.

Is the only workaround to save these external synths/sequences as a wave file and assign them to a prograam and then play them again? I think this is the only way but perhaps I do miss something?

Anyone?

What is your entire mix running into??

Hi Upright,

Richt now I only have my MPC and a rompler, the Yamaha S90ES.

My working procedure right now is:
-Recording several tracks with both, internal programms and ext. sounds (on the S90) triggered by pre-programmed tracks on the MPC.

So I have to feed the audio of the S90 into my MPC so it plays in sync. with the internal pgms when my sequence loops and gets recorded through this resample procedure in record mode (recoding the main output).

Is this possible or do I want too much now?

I don't know if I was too confusing but actually my question is can I feed my mpc (real time, while a seq. is looping) with the sounds of my S90ES and record these sounds together with other tracks which use internal programms throuhg my main output in record mode?
