Check it.

I loaded up just three drum sounds, kick, snare, and hat.

I recorded the snare on track 1, kick on 2, and hat on 3.

When I go to play back this drum part, sounds keep cutting out. The hat usually stays around but the snare will disappear or the kick will cut out. I checked to see if any of the pads were selected to cut another pad but that was not the case. I can't figure this out. I'm recording sounds on separate tracks, so the pad cutoff shouldn't even come into play. Anyone ever have this problem and how did you fix it?

Recording onto separate tracks doesn't solve the problem, if it's properly set, it should cut each other off regardless of being on the same track or not. Check the Params again... make sure "voice overlap:" is set to poly, and "mute group:" and "mute target:" are both "OFF."

Check Step Edit to make sure their arent extra notes really close together.

you need to set the program polyphony.

1) mode + pad7
2) F3
3) set "Play:" to "POLY"

if "Play:" is set to "MONO" then every pad in the program cuts off every other pad because only a single sound is able to play at once.
