Hi there, I hope someone can help me with this as itll save me a lot of time.
What I've got is a Emu XL7 and the MPC2500.
The XL7 has 16 trigger keys which has a MIDI part on each trigger. So you can punch these in and out, and the loops are enabled /disabled.
I am trying to get these MIDI loops over the MPC to manipulate and then re-use. Currently I record each track individually to the MPC, one at a time.
Is there a way to play all 16tracks at the same time on the XL7 and have the MPC record 16 MIDI tracks in simultanously? (Active Track recieve Channel = All)
If this is possible then I think there must be a setting on the XL7 which I havent found yet. Only got it a couple of says ago.
