sample looping PLEASE HELP!

Probably a very simple answer for this, but...

i'm trying to loop a synth sound so i can play it in 16-levels and let it keep playing for as long as i'm holding the pad. in trim i've set my loop, turned the loop off/on, extracted the sound as a different name, etc. but even though the sound will loop in trim mode, i get the same short sample with no loop when i return to my program. any help would be awesome.

highlight your sample in program view - press the window button and check if your samples are set to note on or oneshot.
second: check if your samples are set to mono or poly in program view/ third tab.
