You have to set it to Hard Drive on the top of the Save screen. Then you can see how much space is left.

Internal Drive? Are you sure you are looking at your HD and not your CF?

ok, first: did you remove all jumpers from the harddisk? the mpc need no jumpers in place, so don`t jumper it to master.
second: internal in the load/save pages is not your harddisk - your harddisk will appear as "harddisk". highlight internal and turn the data wheel.
third: if your harddisk shows up use the utility function in the save/load/usb page to format the hdd in your mpc.
you did everything right if you can see the hdd in save/load near the top and a number about 78000something free in the bottom right corner.

all you people new to the mpc 2500 need to relize that the interface can only access one data storage at a time: cf-card or hdd or internal.

I couldn't reply to this topic:
http://mpc-forums.com/viewtopic.php?t=7 ... =harddrive

so I'm posting here.

I'm trying to find the four screws mentioned in step three. Where are they?
"Mount the Hard Drive with the four screws in the MPC 2500."

 It's probably obvious...

I'm not sure, but I think they came in an accessories bag with the MPC. At least I can't remember wondering about that when I installed my drive.
