Saving in 2500

Hi

I'm trying to save my beats in my internal hard drive I have installed.

Here is the situation

I made a beat in sequence 1

I have created program, loaded up the samples and put the samples in the pad through program.

I've used like 8 tracks

If I want to save and load my beats with same program, how should I save this?

I've tried all options of saving, but I don't know why it even deleted my chopped samples too.
Everything is gone except name

This is like nightmare that I always have to listen to my beats and just watch them disappear.

I want to know the whole process..
please don't just tell me "Save entire memory"
please explain the whole process
for example, after I choose one of the option, the window appears and say
"already exists.. blah blah~ replace? rename?" right?
I'm even confused on this too
please tell me how to whole process

you should save the entire memory which is what you're asking people not to tell you...

when you make a beat, create a new folder on the hard drive, and save the entire memory into it. when you want to load the beat, you locate the project file in your beat folder, which is the file that has information about the whole memory you saved earlier, and you load it.

as far as replace or rename, anybody who has used a computer knows what those options do and so this shouldn't need an explaination.

if you still don't know what you're doing, then read your manual. this is one of the most basic things you can do and it's explained in plenty of detail in the manual, and it's not exactly difficult reading.

yeah, I understand and totally agree with u about what u said for the manual.
But I'm not good at English so I think I might got confused from some part in the manual

If its possible can u explain about the rename and replace?
I put the new name and replaced it while I was doing "save entire memory" but while it was in process the window said "delete: sample name"

Happened again..
ok
I'll tell u exactly what I did
(right now it's deleting all the samplez again)

I pressed mode and save
went to ROOT and tryed to choose a folder which has my name on
But I actually dont know how to choose the folder
I pressed do it for save entire memory
It says
project name: project01
Replace same files: Yes

I pressed do it and delete window appeared.

why is this happening?

and I try to create a new folder but it keep says "folder name exists!"
but there is no folder that has name

is something wrong with my mpc?
