Direct recording

Hi

I'm using Motif ES and mpc at the same time.
Right now it's connected with audio cable (output in Motif; record in in MPC).

But in the video clip here

He's saying about "MIDI blah blah blah"

Is there another better way to do the connecting these devises and direct recording?

You can record MIDI or audio.
Audio takes up more memory.
Otherwise give time where he says, and I quote, "about "MIDI blah blah blah" "
I would just use MIDI with the motif. Unless you are taking a loop approach.
