Strange sound problem

Hi,

I just got an mpc 2500 and I got a problem, from times to times when I play sounds I got some 'click' sound that appears randomly. Some kind of quick clic sound, like a old record cracking ... I tried to reduce my Master Level but its still the same , and for me its not coming from the speakers cos I got the same problem with other ones and even with headphones. I thought that it could be some electrical overload or something like that that could cause those pops but its strange as long as it only happens when I play sound, nothing happens when the MPC is on but I dont use it ... It can sound silly but it really bothers me, it happens regularly and im really starting to wonder if there is not something wrong with my MPC ...
Did you guys ever heard of a similar problem or have you any idea where it could come from ?

Hmmm, interesting..I haven't heard anyone complain about that for a while. It was a common issue after 2500 came out.

Which OS version are you using? I'm not sure if that was something which was fixed in one of the updates.

Latest OS update ( 1.23 ).
I tried everything, unplugged everything else on the plug, unplugged the USB , i let only the audio output plugged, tried with other RCA cables ... still the same, its really frustrating ... is it electrical ( bad installation in my place ) or should I return the MPC ?

I'm not sure what it causes...I can't remember that anybody pinned down the cause. If it does it persistently, you could try to return it.

I read everything I found about that problem on the forum, It seems a lot of people got the problem but I cant seem to find any solution. So for those who ever had the problem : what did you do , are you using it anyway ? did you return it ? Does it solve the problem ?

dunno if itt's related, but the only time i got a click was when im in sample edit mode....it sometimes records a click at the beginning of the recorded audio.....i always give myself enough room at the beginning to chop it off though.
like i said, it may not even be related....
