In the 2 months Ive had the 2500, Ive never had a prob til now. I go to save a beat and it says directory error. How do I fix this?

I dont have a hard drive I just save to the flash card that came with the MP.

do a search bro, this one has been beaten to death
there's plenty of topics on it. If i'm not mistaken one of the work arounds is to make multiple folders before doing any work, that way you already got ur a double s covered for a few beats.

Did you recently overwrite files to the folder you're trying to save to? At this point in time, with this particular O.S., overwriting files while saving will most likely cause you to experience the save bug. But as mentioned above, it's been covered plenty of times. I added some drums to my program and overwrote the program before I saved the seq. I never do that..I always save changes to programs after I save the beat. So that could have been the problem.
