record mode stops workin

when i go to record mode i get nothing. but i can go to direct record and it records fine. it sucks though cause i cant see when the sample's clipping. somtimes it works fine though so i dunno. anyone else get this......im on the newest os. think reinstalling it could help.. im not at home in front of the mp right now to try. just wonderin if im the only one.

When you adjust the record gain, are the meters moving accordingly? And what exactly are you sampling from? It may help us answer your questions better.

my fault. sampling from vinyl from my dj mixer. and no, i can turn up the record gain all the way and the meter dont move. it will record in direct record though so its gotta be something with the os, im convinced. i should probly just reinstall the os to see if it fixes it.

Did you check all settings? Source left/right channel, Monitor On or Off?
