NRPN messages why

why when recording in midi do i get messages in my step edit page like this
cc: 99-NRPN MSB
or
cc: 6-DATA
would this cause my actual note messages to not get through.

it is Control Change data. you can erase it by Erase Button then choosing Control Change events only.

but basically if you are rec Midi, and you twiddle the cut off, this info can be rec to the sequence. so when you play the Seq back these changes will play back.

you can control what channel you record in the Midi Sync options.

or you can set your Midi device not to transmit these messages, check the manwell.
