Traded my MPC2000xl for a MPC2500 midi setup problems

Just bought a 2500 sold my 2000xl now I'm having midi setup issues. I use the 2500 as master, I have a Motif, Triton Studio, Roland XP60 and a EMU sound module. Setup: Motif and Triton IN/OUT with mpc, Roland and EMU out from MPC to IN's on Roland and EMU. OS 1.23...My issue is when selecting the Triton I can play the pads on the MPC and record Triton sounds..but when trying to play the keys from the triton and record on MPC, it does not work. I've checked all settings. I am in sequence mode on the Triton. This setup works fine with my Motif. I also swapped cables to make sure it wasnt a midi in port issue. This worked fine when I had my 2000xl.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
