mac question

I foolishly turned my mpc off while it was connected to my mac. the icon on my computer wouldn't leave so I restarted my computer. Now I get no icon at all when trying to connect them. I'm trying to download the new os. Please help. Thanks.

Hey net,

Have you started the MPC? Does that load? If so, cool! On the Mac side, did you tried to pull any info off of the machine (files) when you pulled of the USB wire? If so, get rid of that info and start over. This time hitting the "mount" (F6) to access the drive. It should load. I have done this myself and all was fine. Admit tingly I did not have the HD in when it happened and it was just the CF card, but the computer will still see it as a "removable device".
