Applying fades to sample end

Does anyone know how to apply a fade to say a string sample so that it loops well?

The sample edit parameters in the JJOS v3.08 does not seem to have a dedicated parameter for this.

Is there a way?

In PROGRAM MODE, hit the PAD, go to LEVEL, hit WINDOW button, and adjust DECAY (for fade out) in ENVELOPE. (Decay modulation set to END)

or assign a slider to the volume and rec the movement.

Ditto to both previous entries, also in the same place you find decay, you'll also find attack, play with both, and find the best sound for your loop. I always use both of these when looping.
