make sure your cable isnt broken, try a different cable
isolate the issue and make sure it's your output

dunk.

I had exactly the same prob, maybe... 3 months in. but i was travelling with it it, but still...

so being in the uk you'll have to send it to cimple solutions. if you are still in warranty go back to your reseller and get a replacement. cimple have about a 4 week waiting period b4 they even look at it, then diagnose, then possibly order spares, so you could end up waiting an age.

so if you use your mpc a lot, try and get a temp replacement from reseller or you may start getting a bit anxcious (or whatever u spell it!)

south.

same thing happen to me but i got it fix it tho

ok so my left output is still not working!!!
it's not working on the stereo out and the headphones.
i was using the 8out's but i can't use some of the features on those...fx etc..
i started using the digital out direct into the computer and the left output works fine doing that.
i dont think it's a hardware fault as i took the thing apart and had a look at everything and all seems fine.
i flashed it back the the original Akai OS and amde no difference.
then flashed it back to the latest JJ os and no change.

Anyone got any ideas or am i gona have to send it to cimple solutions?

That sucks man. My output #6 has the same issue and I don't have a clue on how to fix. If someone could shed some light on this I would most gladly appreciate it...

i see not a lot of helpfull replies...mine have not died,,but does anyone know if you can get that sort of "out" at radioshack or some electronic store??if so,then soldering it to the board is not that difficult unless you have no expeirience at all...

you can probably order the part directly from AKAI.

check about three or so threads down from this one whould be a parts list Thread find your part number and give AKAI a shout and while your at it cuss em out too for putting out sh*tty products

other than than you can open up the machine yourself and see what kind of part you need.

i almost replaced that part on my 1k but ended up selling it before it completely crapped out. it worked just fine but you had to wiggle it sometimes.

to the OP it looks like your problem is more than just the output itself if you are having problems with both your left output and headphone left out. you might need to replace the PCB board that connects the two?????

all other either check the parts list or google it as im not sure what the part it is called but it shouldnt be too difficult to replace just a pain in the a$$.
