so why is it when i save a sequence it wont play after i restart the MPC?

this happened to me before, but all i did is load up the same samples that were in the sequence.

this time i assigned the samples to the pads, so now i can't play my song :?

Hey bro im not trying to be an a**, but i had the same problem for a while and to be honest, I believe your best bet is to follow the short tutorial in the manual on saving sequences (takes like 10 min max) you'll find out very quickly what your doing (or not doing) wrong. Thats what I did. Let me know if you still have issues.

if you just save a sequence this only contains sequence data e.g. what pad you played at which time and with what velocity (like a midi file, which is just play information without any sounds). so your sequence will play if every sample is on the same position in your mpc when you reload the seq.
to simply save all the samples, programs and sequences just save the entire memory - this will create a project file and if you load this your mpc will be just like it was before saving. and you can load your samples, seq and prg once at a time from the project folder if you need to for other occasions.
