Some body please help i just wanna make Beats!!!

ok i aint good at explaining things but please try to help me
i got my samples all chopped up in the mpc etc...
i have recorded my drum loop but when i try record my samples over the drum loop it just plays like a microseconds of them instead of the hole few seconds of them??? i have got note on and my friend said to try both poly and mono in params but nothing helps it

can anyone help me?

U dont want to have "note on" selected u wanna set all pads to "one hit", also the param setting on the program must be "poly" not "mono"
