M-Audio Keyboard/Synth.

so i got this M-Audio Keyboard http://www.m-audio.com/products/en_us/SessionKeyStudio25-main.html

now my question is can i use this as a controller with my MPC and control chopped samples? if so how do i go about doing this? I'm guessin' the 1st step is to geta midi cord, right? what else?

seriously, no one is gonna to help you if youi dont at least do some of the research yourself.

ok the only hint i will give you since this confuses the most people even if they know midi:
to play the pads in the same order as the keys you need to reassign the midi notes on the mpc, because they are an order like general midi drums and not standart midi from 0 to 127. so don´t be surprised if you hit two pads next to each other and the corresponding keys are a mile of each other.

if you use your mpc to make an autochromatic program, then i belive, the pads are in the right order. someone correct me on that if i´m wrong since i use the autochromatic on the mpc very rarely.

I would check out some posts on using multisamples, and yes all you need is a midi cable.
