Ay, whats going on everyone, i have a 2500 and ive been trying to figure out how to use the digital out, i have spdif cables and i can get it to record in through the digital in, but when it comes to tracking into pro tools i would like to use the digital out but don't know how to assign or make it active. User Manual doesn't mention how to do it either so hopefully one of you guys would kno..

Thanx in advance :?

maybe in mixer page, tab 2 outs? just highlight the st field at the top and then turn the data wheel to change the output for that pad?
normally the spdif should mirror the main outs just like the headphone plug does. hmmm, must look into that myself...

peace jo

HEY GUYS I GOT IT!!!!, I overlooked somthing simple i figured it would be somthin small but yea here it goes

WELL FIRST OFF ,I have an mac book pro wit pro tools. With the audio midi setup inside the mac you have to change the defualt clock source from default(internal) to s/pdif

I DIDN'T THINK ABOUT THAT AT ALL, DONT KNO Y

BUT YEA THANX FOR EVERY1S HELP

AND FOR THE RECORD THE DIGITAL OUT DOES MIRROR THE STEREO OUT
