manual sample chop on the 2500

i want to chop my samples up like i did using the wavetraveller in fl studio. anybody know what i mean? how can i get that done without going through the automatic chopping?

Im about 15 minutes into my new 2500 and Im bout to pull my hair out cause i figured out chop shop and auto chop in no time...... but im trying to tighten up the "zones" of the chop by changing end points and start point....im scrolling the data wheel for like half a minute and getting such minimal difference...this is gonna take me 12 hours to do this for 16 zones!!

theres gotta be a way to set the speed/sensitivity of the scroll wheel for this? I cant find anything in the manual.

anybody hear what Im saying?

IT'S STARTING TO SINK IN HOW POWERFUL THIS THING IS...WOW

Select the St (start) field and adjust the start point.
You can change the start point by turning the DATA wheel.
If you press the left/right cursor key while holding the [SHIFT] key, you can select the digit with the DATA wheel.
You can also enter the value directly with using the numeric keys.

Page 63 of the Manual - Adjusting the start and end points of the sample.

HOLD DOWN SHIFT AND THE LEFT ARROW WHEN THE START/END POINT IS HIGHLIGHTED AND THEN TURN THE WHEEL OR JUST HOLD DOWN THE Q LINK BUTTON AND MOVE THE SLIDERS THE SLIDER ON THE LEFT SETS THE START POINT AND THE RIGHT THE END POINT.

see...its people like that, that are TOO LAZY to read a few pages that will end up saving them time and headaches later that clutter the forums!!!

You need to do " shift + left arrow " on the start and end numbers to move from 1's to 10's to 100's to 1000's, etc... Then you can edit the higher numbers with the scroll wheel. Your just scrolling one number at a time...

I know Rick already said that, I didn't notice before... haha
