Help Syncing To Cubase SE

I'm trying to sync my MPC 2500 with Cubase SE. Right now my MPC's Sync mode is
Sync in : 2 (Slave)
Mode: MIDI CLOCK
Receive MMC:ON

My Midi interface is a Midi Sport 2X2. I have a Midi cable going from Out B of the Midi Sport into Midi In 2 on my MPC. For the sync setup in Cubase, I have Timecode Source set to None and Send Midi Clock is set to Out B. When I press play in Cubase, the Out B light on my Midi interface turns on but it won't start my MPC. Any ideas?

Make sure that you have actually something recorded in the mpc's sequencer. May sound weird, but I remember myslef once trying to start mpc playing and it wouldn't, cause the seqencer was empty.
If I think of anything else I'll write it.

the 2500 can receive midi right? or is that something they still haven't fixed with the OS? I have the latest OS installed
