right now if i open up a piano roll in cubase se, i can hit a pad on my mpc and it will trigger a note on the piano roll...if i click the exact note that was lit, my mpc won't making any noise...if i hit record in cubase, midi notes will be recorded in cubases sequencer, but when i press play for play back, i won't get any sound. so my mpc can send midi data fine, it just won't receive it...any ideas? the main thing i want to do is sync my mpc so that cubase will be the master. in the manual, it shows (EXT) as being the mpc's tempo...i can't get it to change...any ideas?
