os problem

now i downloaded jj os 3....something...and then i could not use the patch phrase option so i reverted to os 1....something...the original os so i could patch phrase...and then i wanted to sample and chop and you know that is too long a process with os 1...something...so i went back to os 3....something...and then i could not use the direct record option...so now i want to know has anyone else run into this problem and if so what is the solution?

yeah, how do you direct record with the free jj os??

jj's audio track seem's to be a replacment for akai's direct record.

i've not used direct record as i bought the jj software as soon as i bought my mpc, so i don't know how usefull it is. but i'm sure with a little jiggery pokery an 'audio track' will do almost the same job.
