Samples not there

When I drag and drop samples from my PC,
onto a folder on my MPC Harddrive it all looks fine,
but then when i browse the Harddrive on the MPC the Folder is there
but there are no sign of the samples .

Do you know what format your samples are in?

The MPC will only recognise certain files and definately not MP3s. I use 16bit 44.1Khz WAV files.
