looping live audio

Hi. I use a 2000xl and i want to get on stage with my mpc to make beats live and add live audio loops such as beatboxing and other instruments. I bought a kaoss pad and tried syncing it to the mpc so i could have live audio and sequences from my mpc in sync. I would rather do everything on one machine. Is it possible to record and sequence back live audio into the mpc2500?
