Could somebody help me out with this one.

I have everything plugged right and when I press play on Pro-tools it controls my mpc but I have noticed that after I record it in the notes are a little off the grid. They are pushed in front of the grid.

I have the mpc set on Midi Beat Clock instead of Midi Time Code. Could that be the difference??

heres what i did t fix this

updated to OS 1.23 for the 2500

In Protools dont use beat clock, use MTC,

MTC generator in Peripherals you have to choose your midi device

in Session check off using MTC and all that

and IN MIDI DEVICES under Windows>Midi>Midi Devices you have to make sure your interface's midi out is going into your Mpc's midi in, on my Mac i got a project mix so i just drag and drop the midi signal on the displayed graphic from the Pmix to the Mpc

and on the Mpc make sure you got it set for Slave and MTC on the correct midi channel
