Hello MPC fans,
Before I purchase this thing I need to know the following.
First I wish to use the AKAI MPC 2500 as a dumb slave. Meaning I prefer using my external Motif keyboard with built in sequencer to trigger samples off the MPC via MIDI. IS this doable?
I assume that I will be creating MPC programs with samples assigned to NOTEs and away we go. Correct?
I assume that I can trigger MPC programs notes from Motif without the need for a MPC sequence. Correct?
I guess what I;m trying to find out if the MPC can be used simply as a sound modules and what are the limitations of using the MPC as a slave.
I assume that I must manualy load programs from the MPC first before each songs created on the Motif since I cannot load new programs via MIDI.? Correct?
Thanks for your input
