Just purchased hip-hop producer set from mpc-samples.com

I have tons of sounds now but I am wondering what the easiest way to go about using them is. I am thinking that I can hook up the MPC to my comp via USB and then listen to sounds in itunes and create a new folder and drag and drop in 64 select sounds to make up a drum kit. Anyone have better ideas>?

i bought the save thing. i love it. i have them all on a folder on the harddrive called "drum shit" and then i have the sub folders in that (snares, kicks, etc) and since there's like 3 programs for snares and kicks i just pull one out for snares. layer around til i'm satisfied. and on and on. i dunno. might be an easier way but thats just what i do. it kind sucks tho when you have a bunch of random snares and kick samples that end up getting saved with a session you save. what i mean by that is, if i have a whole song done and i save it in its own folder on the hd, i end up saving a ton of drum samples i didnt even use along with it... but what can ya do.

yall told me about the purge thing when i asked about deleting a program and not having to delete the samples from it one by one. i have yet to find this purge shtt.

Mode + Pad 7 (Program)--> hit F6 (Purge).

Purge deletes all samples that are not used in your PROJECT.

Purge is EXACTLY what you are both needing to use.
