Installing replacement buttons on 2000xl

Has anyone ever replaced buttons on their mpc themselves? I know you can order them from VST , but I'm not sure how hard it is....
My Do It button and my Shift are on their way out!

The buttons are not the switches which are underneath. If your buttons don't work correctly, it's most probably the switches which go out, which are not an easy job to replace.

Yeah thats what I was afraid of, I'll wait til it doesnt work at all until I try fix it, because some days it still works fine...
