a BIG problem!!!

hello

my mpc is crazy..

if i hit a pad all pads play..

if i hit a snare i hear also the hh, kick, cymbals, all..

whats happened?

some one had the same experience? how to solve that?

This is a typical problem.

Take off the top cover and realign the pads. They become out of alignment after extensive banging.
There are a couple of threads on this. Try searching if you need more info.

Happened to mine a few weeks ago as well. Had it just standing around for some time, then turned it back on, and the pads just triggered multiple others. Tried to factory reset, reinstall OS, nothing. Then all of a sudden after half an hour or so it worked alright again.

i've opened it, but the pads are aligned, i've removed them and realigned.. nothing changes.

i've tried to touch the sensors very delicate and seems they works right but when i put the pads over it they don't works right..

they random hit all pads.. or all together..

I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO.

i've it since december and i've bought it used, was bought in november, but all is worked perfectly till now.

and i really haven't do anything with it, i think that this kind of problem have to be progressively if it's a my fault.. if pads are hit too hard..

i don't hit pads too hard and are always worked well.

I was experiencing a very similar problem when I first got my 1000. I'm not at my mpc right now, but from memory, on the 1000 there is a data cable going from the pad sensors to a pin socket on the main board (somewhere under the volume/gain knobs if i remember correctly). I assume there will be a similar cable in your 2500. You can try unplugging/replugging that. Make sure you turn off the power and unplug your mpc before fooling around inside though. Hope that helps.
