Pad Problem

Pressing the pad triggers sounds designated to other pads....whats going on...I goy jj os 5.53....Can't into the groove when making a drum track because other sounds keep jumping in. Need help

I ended up taking the cover off and unscrewed the pad sensor part and unpluged and replug a part....I also followed someones tip to hold down the erase key while turning the system on. Well, after doing this everything turned out fine, no problem any more. Don't know what I did that could have done but it now works, its been 3 days strong now.
