how do i load .wav files on mpc2500

i just purchased the mpc2500 and i put some .wav files on the 128mg card and load the sounds and assign them to a pad but im not getting sound back from the pad i assigned it to. Can someone please help me figure this out, and sorry if the question is so simple but thats what has me boggled right now and i can't get into making beats with out my sounds.

Yes that was a very very simple question and i answered it myself by actually trying LOL but im shore i will be posting something else hahaha.
