Ok, you're joking, right? You want to change tempo, but not speed? Want the same tune but not the same pitch? Do you understand what you're talking about?

Switch the sample to MIDI huh? Shit is real in the field? WTF
First off you need to google MIDI, and learn a little about that if you intend to produce tracks using MIDI. go read tweeks website about midi. I don't know the exact address off the dome. maybe tweaks, something like that, read the MIDI tutorial. or google MIDI tutorials.

the future of hiphop, not with this post.

You need to understand the capabilities of your machine FIRST then use that and imagination to fullfill your vision.
Don't just have a vision and not understand how to get it done, cause right now, you are spittin in the wind an it's comin back at you.

"Do you understand what you're talking about?"

I don't think he does.

Ok, just to get him a little on the track...

You can change the tempo of a sample without changing the pitch (or tune) by using Timestretch.

You can change the pitch (or tune) of a sample without changing the tempo by using Pitch Shift.

Both are available as Edit options for your sample. You cannot do that via MIDI.
