mpc 2500 and digital performer

hi. im trying to use my 2500 in conjunction with digital performer. my problem has been recording drum patterns into dp. the first note is always off in dp eventhough everything is perfect in the mpc. does anyone have any idea what this could be? anything i record from my keyboards is perfect so it must be something exsclusive to the mpc. please help

Are you running your MPC as master or slave?

im currently running it as a slave. i was trying to avoid having to dump tracks because of the hassle of not owning a patchbay.

I had problems with this for a bit as well. But running mpc as slave seemed to correct it.
