I cant believe how incredibly stupid Akai is. Does it get to their pride or something, since they cant release their Operating systems as an open source? I know its a topic that´s been discussed for million and million times, but I just dont freakin´ get it. They would get exactly the same amount of money from the hardware, and the product would sell a lot more!
Do you honestly think most professionals buy the 1k/2.5k line without knowing about the JJ OS? I didnt think so,
lets just look at David Banner and John Mayer for example, and let them speak for ourselves. (Oh, not to forget the Just Blaze incident with MPC 5000 OS)
Roger Linn MPC´s were the great pieces of their time, before this PC business started growing,
now we have crappy cheapest plastic Numark MPC:S (with cheapest parts), which should be throwed at the fireplace if it wasnt for the JJ OS.
why do we who prefer hardware more than software,need to suffer because of the crappiest stock OS:s in the world?
