2000XL or 1000

I just want to say whatever decision you make, examine your setup and how you intend to integrate the MPC with it. I bought a MPC 2000XL and now it just sits because I was so used to using FL Studio and Reason that it was more of a hassle than a help. I tried it and went, "I can do the same thing so much faster on my PC." I then started seeing that people who are going to use the PC alot tended to use the 1000 more because its more PC friendly than the 2KXL because its simply an older machine.

Hahahaha...yeah, heaven forbid anyone use let alone actually LIKE the 5000....On topic though, the 1000 with jj smashes the 2kxl in my opinion.

i don't own a 5000 but i gotta admit they are dope.

It's all about personal preference, I grabbed the 2000XL recently for £170 + a SCSI Zip drive (booyah) and I'm personally loving it, my only opinion on the subject would be that don't buy the 1000 if the pads are the same as the 500's pads... (no doubt someone will school me here) They look the same thickness and size so my presumption is that they are, in which case run.
