I got an MPC 2000 classic and i'm considering to maybe replace it with a 1000,because of the effects, easier communication with a computer, and i think the 1000 has 6 outputs, my 2000 only has 2. But i heard that the 1000 pads and general build are not as good. And i would have to transfer all my drum sounds from my floppies to my computer which is a lot of work.
So i'm not sure yet, people who tested both what do you think?

i love my 2000 but I switched to the MV because I wanted the best of both worlds and with my 8000 im still able to load up the sloppy floppies and then save them in the CPU for me its great as I am also considering the Renn just because...

floppies scare me. you ought to do this anyway to CYA

I backed up all my drums sounds on my computer maybe 1 year ago or more, but have a lot more sounds now. I almost never had problems with floppies though, i lost my data on maybe 2 floppies in 3 years using it.

I heard a few people complaining about that, i really don't know if it's that noticeable or if it's really a big problem :?
