What made your decision? Was it because you look too much to the screen with Ren than the Maschine? What? Spill it you cheap story telling ****.

akai is known to rip off customers by discontinuing products and leaving them buggy as hell.. I would go with NI on this one, they dont have the BAD track record like akai..

I think Akai should just focus on the software..
even if they make a new controller that has all the features that people are requesting.. they can still lose allot of customers

you could have a good product, but if the customers lose faith in the company then what ever product they release won't sell.. black berry z10 is a great example, good product, struggling company

based on N.I's track record, and how they seem to be in tuned with technology and what people want.. I would choose them.. you can be loyal until the day you die, but even Keven Garnett had to leave the Timberwolves

One of the most appealing things with Mstudio workflow is that there seam to be no cursor movements on thouse large screens ... Softkeys and data weel only thanks to dedicated buttons, there are page butoons to flip between screen but thats it, no surfing endlessly on the lcd with the cursor.

Honestly I've never understood why mpc's cant break the habbit of cursor clikking all over the LCD .. Eliminate this plus softkeys, and bring it all to front panel and the workflow will improve greatly ..

And while we are on the topic of M vs R .. Does the Ren have append sequence option??(automatically dublicates/copies the seq) ..

In all hardwhe mpc's (jjOS??) its a matter of cursor clicking to:BAR, press open window, scroll/select copy/copy to and hit do it ... I belive on the Mstudio this is one button press ... This is a huge workflow boost ..

Take note Akai..

I wondered what the decision would be. I wonder if the Maschine Studio will be much greater than the current or older Maschine?

I wonder what greatness will come from MPC Ren/Studio in the near future?

This is an exciting time my friend!

I am looking forward to hearing some wonderful musics in 2014 and beyond!

I have a feeling their decision was made before they created an account just to do a plug.
