MPC 1000 W/ JJOS 128XLCD Vs. MPC 2000XL W/ EB16 FX Card

My main piece is the MPC ONE+, my the sequencer doesn't feel right w/ the resolution. So I am setting up
both of these thinking I will keep one.

I would use a secondary set-up standalone to start ideas, then transfer to the One+. I also want a 96ppq sampler to sequence my ASR-10. Any thoughts here?

The MPC One+ is a 960ppqn sequencer, that can operate as a 96ppqn sampler. I know under preferences you can go to sequencer to set the display from 960ppqn to 96ppqn, and I think if you quantize to 1/32 note triplets, it will get you 96ppqn for recording as well.

Thanks so much. I know I've looked for this in preferences but maybe I missed it or it was on an older OS. I also did not check again since I went from the One to the One+. Very cool info.

Knowing this, perhaps I keep the 2kxl for the sound, status, and nostalgia. It was my first sampler back in 04', and I always wanted it next to the ASR. I can keep the One+ for travel and live stuff, and hold onto the classic duo for slow cooking and value. Just my thought as of today. I also had an offer accepted on the 8 outs board today so I guess that's a sign.
