Hi, Sorry posting about this again...
But im thinkin 2 much... and im getting seriously frustratin...
Im gonna buy my first MPC.

What You Guys Do If You Are In My Person:

You would buy:

mpc 500 (NEW) for: $620 plus shipment (it includes a memory 128)

OR

mpc 1000 (USED) for: $755.00 plus shipment

if you planning on traveling a lot or making music outside of your house/studio like train, park or elsewhere with no electricity supplied then 500 is your top choice. other than that 1k is what you want. if I had a choice of 500 or 1k I'd definately choose 1k over 500 just cuz of its features and feel vs 500. if the mpc is going to be your main work horse I'd go with 1k.

used mpc 1k is a little risky tho as they got problems with pads, problem can be easly fixed if you know how to use a screw driver and arent scared oto open mpc. for used 1k I'd probably be after black version as they came out quite recently and most likely they not as abused.

my first mpc was 1k, bought it used few pads were **** up I had to open it up glue back the graphite part, then my buttons started breaking, shit was pain in the ass. after few weeks got rid of it, bought brand new mpc1k
