If you could get a MPC60II for 1200$ or a MPC3000 for 1970$
Wich one would you get?
the MPC60 has the 3000 OS. I'm just wondering if the 3000 is worth the extra dough...
I'll be using the mpc to sequence my asr and sp1200 - But I'll probably also use it as a standalone unit.

on second thought: the 2500 might look interesting - cheaper than the 3000

mpc60ii for $1200? dog, everytime i go on ebay i see them around 600 maxed out.. be patient, hell, most of the time i see more than one at a time with a deal like that..

and the MPC3000 should be around $1500

dont get either. those are outrageous prices. wait there is always something cheaper. i paid 800 for my 60 maxed out, and what do you know. i see cleaner ones for 200 less...

How do you feel about getting the 2500 instead? Only thing I can think of that i'm giving up - is the 12bit sound (mpc 60) and the bulkiness.

you cant go wrong. just buy a separate rack sampler. you can find ensoniq or emu racks cheap

I already have the sp1200 and asr10 - that should be enough for the cruncyness :)

you dont need the 60 man. go for the 2500.
