Battle of the Aftermarket OS

Based on your dream setup and NOT on actual capability, which one would you rather have if given the choice of one?

MPC 3000 with Vailixi 3.50 OS

OR

MPC 1000 with the JJ OS 4.84

If were not talking about money I vote for an MPC4000 with Just Blaze in my spare bedroom.

The voting should be done on the OS preference alone because the MPC 1000 with JJ OS does so much more than many machines.

I was just curious what you all thought about the ability of these aftermarket programs to expand these machines and I just wanted to filter out the other machines since they didn't have aftermarket OS upgrades.

The 2500 with JJ OS is not on there because it overshadows any other MPC out there IMHO

Well it's apples to oranges.
Rohan's OS takes a solid well built machine and OS and refines it to more modern aspects.
JJ's OS fixes a lot of shortfalls that made the 1k a POS in the eyes of many who purchased it.

In other words Rohan's OS is more of an option while the JJ OS is a more or less a requirement.

A person shopping for a 3k in most cases is not the same person shopping for a for a 1k.

Maybe your question or poll would have been better related to the feelings on the various 3rd party OS's compared to their Akai counterparts.

I went with the 3000... only because I've always wanted one the first time i messed with one.

So what's the difference between a stock 4k & a 2500 w/ the latest JJ OS?
