2500-3000

2500-3000

I just got a used 2500. When I came in I was looking for a 3000. But they had none. a week later the store calls and says they got a 3000 for $300 less, if I wanted it. I desided not to get it. I know they r rare, but I dont know much else. if you use 1 mpc you can use just about any. My friends have had them for yrs. I just got my 1st. was this a good trade off? Shoild I have taken the 3000?

To each his own, but I think the 2500 will pay off in the end. With that being said I would have went with the 3000,but I prefer older equipment. The 3000 from a spec's list doesn't offer anything the 2500 doesn't have really that would imo be beneficial in a modern setup( ie smpte and scsi).
