I voted for the DR-110. You can mod those out to make the kick drum sound like a TR-808, make the snares snappy and decay, and filter the hi-hats, etc.

The DR-110 was my very first drum machine when I was about 15. I took that damn thing everywhere.
I wish i could mod my SK-5 like some of the circuit bent hardware I've seen on the net.
That's the only thing keeping me from buying an x0xb0x kit is making sure I'm putting the damn thing together correctly and not going to burn something up. :shock:

I couldn't afford a DR 110.. so I ended up getting a Mattel Synsonic Drums
